Autodiscovery Mac vs Linux & Win?

I added Autodiscovery to my little project. Basically just copy-pasted the sample code. When I run it, the Linux-boxes (Raspberry Pis) see each other and Windows devices. Windows-boxes see Raspberries. And the Mac apps see other Macs. But that’s it, Macs see only Macs and others see only others.

All in the same switch, getting 192.168.0.x -addresses, wifi off.

Multicast works between all of them.

Guess I have to give up on Autodiscovery. Or is there a solution?

Try the example project…

@Pekka Salonen — Honestly I wouldn’t rely on AutoDiscovery for many reasons, and I would use mDNS instead (native to macOS, Linux and Windows 10, separate installation for other Windows)

I just did the same here - using the AutoDiscovery Example loading on a Pi and a Mac and they don’t see each other.

@StphaneMons could you please elaborate a bit more in detail whats the problem with AutoDiscovery?

Do you have the Firewall running on your Mac?
