Hello. I recently started using an embedded video player for my desktop app. For rendering purposes, I found using WebKit worked the best on Windows. Through testing and even after deploying the app, the videos played well. Today I am seeing the following message on the Windows app (Mac is still working fine)
Any thoughts? Is there something that needs to be downloaded?
Update. So I searched that message and watched a read a couple of articles saying to make sure browsers are up to date. I didn’t even do anything differently (update browsers or make any changes) and went to watch a video on Windows, and they play fine now. Weird.
Could this just be an unknown glitch that corrected itself? Or is this something I need to concern myself with on an occasional basis?
