Sorry for appearing stupid but I am putting text into a TEXTAREA and the encrypting it using RC4V6 and then clearing the Textarea and putting the encrypted text into the textarea, but when I try to decrypt the text by assigning the textarea.text to a string and trying to decrypt it I get garbage…
The idea is to paste encrypted text from the clipboard to the textarea then decrypt it.
An easier way would be to paste the clipboard contents to a string variable but cannot find a way to do this.
Any idea would be appreciated.
Look up Clipboard in the Language Reference, it’s really easy. There’s a code sample that shows exactly how to do this.
Thank you very much…I said I am stupid as already use clipboard to copy too in the program.
It works fine now.
