Mobile Question

I know Xojo allows you to build iOS apps. But that aside, could you build a web app designed for a smartphone? Obviously you would have to run it from your phone’s browser, but is there any reason that wouldn’t work?

Yes, i run mobile app for our organisation which runs predominantly on smartphone. I did a brief overview at XDC on it. Not only possible but relatively straightforward.

I design all my WebApps so they are functional on an iPad and above. iPhone sizing would be a challenge.

Given the small real estate on a smart phone, design becomes of paramount importance. But technically, a native iOS app or a web app are just the same.
