I need to bring up the Florence virtual keyboard when a text field gets the focus. I’m sure I’m missing something simple, but I do not seem to be able to figure it out. I am still working on my very first project in Xojo to be deployed on a RaspberryPi (which I have never used before either) so the learning curve is still in effect. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I am afraid you have not given much information to work on.
Have you done all the latest updates, i am sure you have, but its easy to forget.
Can you launch the keyboard from the menu?
what code have you tried to date that does not work and what method have you researched that might do what you expect.
I think i may have used this keyboard sometime ago when using the official Pi touch screen but the code for the experiment (which did not result in a final product) is not immediately to hand so i have no answer at the moment.
can you find any code from other languages that you can post to give a clue as to what may be the solution.
