When i am debugging a large Windows desktop project, and decide to stop debugging once a runtime-error appears, the IDE stops debugging but the Windows taskmanager tells me that the debugproject keeps running. Every time I have to stop it using brute force within the taskmanager.
I’am dealing with this issues in version 2017.R3, 2018R1 and 2018R2 (Windows). Version 2016R3 seems to stop the process I am debugging correctly.
With small projects there seems to be no issue at all.
Anybody else seeing the same behavior ?
I was not able to find this issue reported in Feedback. (No matches or too many matches).
