    I used GoGetSSL.com
Cost $210 for 3 years and the certificate works with kSign for windows.
kSoftware was about 50% more expensive when I purchased last time.

But isnt that ssl certificates? I cant see any code signing certificates there, or am I blind?

    GoGetSSL.Com
    -> SSL Certificates DropDown Menu
You'll find the option for Code Signing Certificates.
kSoftware is about the same price.
    They both re-sell Comodo certificates.

the global sign certificate costed 450 Euro for 3 years and came with USB token.
As the token doesn't work for me in VMWare and using a token with MacBook is not convenient, I cancelled that. Seems like after a month global sign does the refund.

meanwhile I use the new certificate from ksoftware.
4 years for $268 USD (218 Euro) and without an USB token.
So Software is signed automatically in command line.

does this ksoftware certificate works for windows AND macos AND ios ?
do you still have to buy a developper licence from apple at $99/year or not ?

I use ksoftware certificate only for Windows.

And I would expect you need to buy Apple's certificate, too.

Yes, for Apple one gets the certificates for iOS, macOS, etc with the developer account.

On Windows I go with kSoftware.

I found these notes on my Windows PC where I codesign Windows software:

Go to http://codesigning.ksoftware.net and click Buy Now to
get a new code signing certificate for Windows.
Use same credentials as they show up in WHOIS of your mydomain.com.
Follow the instructions in the subequently coming emails.

    1) Once you have received the confirmation that the Code Signing
Certificate is ready, then download the user.crt file with
Chrome or Firefox browser. Copy the link from the email to
the browser and follow the instructions.
Tip: Use the original Firefox browser from which the process
was started, because the private.key is generated and stored in it.
    2) Now go to Firefox Preferences, Advances, Certificates,
View Certificates, Your Certificates and then backup
the certificate including the private key to
the file mydomain.p12, use password <mypassword>
    3) load the .p12 file with kSign (PFX File)
    4) Add Folder with Windows executables
    5) Enter the Certificate Password
    6) Push Sign button
