App Store Icon and Xcode 9

Apple says:

How should this be handled with Xojo? Ignore what they say and add it in iTunes Connect?

not sure how that would work, since doesnt the AppStore icon go into the AppStore app? and never is part of the actual iPhone/iPad app ever?

EDIT… Xcode 9 does have a place to put this Icon 1024x1024… however I see no place in Xojo that accepts an “AppStore” icon (180x180 is the biggest)

Since I’m not actually “building an app using Xcode 9”, I’ll try adding the icon in iTunes Connect and see what happens.

Then what ARE you doing? since Xcode 8/9 is required for an “Xojo for iOS” app

and my point was if Apple does (or will) REQUIRE the submitted app contain the 1024x1024 App Store icon, the Xojo needs to make some changes. If Apple simply recommends that it be included, and will continue to accept it via Connect, then no worries

I mean that I’m BUILDING the app with XOJO, and just using Xcode 9 for support. We’ll see what happens.
