Desktop Apps in the Windows Store

I just came across this article in SD Times magazine:

Desktop Apps in the Windows Store

It talks about using the free Desktop Bridge converter (from the Advanced Installer team) to convert an existing MSI or EXE installer to the AppX used by the Windows Store. Looks interesting so I’d thought I point it out here as perhaps a simpler way for people to get their Xojo apps in the Windows Store.

I mentioned Advanced Installer quite a while ago, in the threads about the Desktop Converter. That seems indeed like a great solution. I have not tested it, though.

I I recall correctly, the trial did not convert to AppX at the time. It seems to be the case now.
