Xojo 2015r4.1 does not include plugins when on Sierra 10.12.3

Baffled, because version 2015r1 does load plugins, but not the latest version of 2015, aka 2015r4.1. In trying to maintain support for the year 2015, r4.1 fails, none of the plugins load. Haven’t checked 2016r1, 2016r2. Versions 2016r3 and up are ok and load plugins.

Im using 2015 R3 under 10.12.3 and all seems fine.

Remove the quarantine flag in Terminal from the app, so it’s not relocated.
see xattr command in Terminal.

care to explain?

Search the forum for “Translocation”

Something like this in Terminal:

xattr -d com.apple.quarantine Xojo.app

You should not really need to do this, but MacOS is weird sometimes. I have to do this on my Mac Pro, but I do not need to do it on my Macbook Air. Both are running Sierra 10.12.3.

What about Sierra 10.12.4 ?
(no more in beta)

Only sometimes?

I never had to worry about translocation at all on my good ol’ iMac 2011 under Sierra 10.12.3.

Well, if you download the app and drag it to Application folder, the Finder should notice and remove the flag.
But sadly not always.

Maybe it would be good if Xojo could show a dialog or fix itself?

Same thing, download a version of Xojo, install and observe.

The latest version does not have this problem while it has the quarantine attribute.
