A forum post that is easy to read is far more likely to get others to offer help. In particular, be sure to format your source code and images using the simple commands in the post editor toolbar. And when you feel your question has been answered, be sure to click the "This answers the question" button in the bottom of the reply that you consider the answer.

    Source Code

For displaying source code snippets (Xojo, HTML, XML, etc.) or other unformatted text. Simply select the code and click the "code" button in the toolbar, which adds the tags to your post:
If True Then
      MsgBox("Hello!")
    End If
* remove extra space that is needed here to display the code itself

    Embed Image

Displays an inline image. This needs to be a direct link to an image file. Click the "image" button in the toolbar and then replace the URL.

If you are linking from Dropbox, be sure to use a "public link" and remove the "?dl=0" and replace it with "?raw=1". Images from Flicker and other picture services that do not have a direct link do not display. Imgur is a service that seems to work well.

    URL Links

Displays a link that will open in a new tab/window. Select the text, click the "link" button in the toolbar and replace the URL.

    Xojo

    Xojo

Also available by highlighting the text to use as the name and clicking the link button in the toolbar. If you do this, remember to also change the URL text, which simply defaults to example.com.

    Quote

Select text in the source post and click the quote button in the toolbar to have the text copied to the reply box. This will also scroll to the reply box. Hold down shift when clicking the quote button to prevent scrolling to the reply box.

You can have multiple quotes in a message.
To be or not to be.
To be or not to be.

    Bold

    This text is bold.

    This text is bold.

Also available by highlighting the text and clicking the "B" button in the toolbar.

    Italic

    This text is italic.

    This text is italic.

Also available by highlighting the text and clicking the "I" button in the toolbar.

    Header

Use a Header to add sections to posts:

    [h]This is a Header[/h]

    This is a Header

Also available by highlighting the text and clicking the header button in the toolbar.

    Strike

    [s]This text is striked.[/s]

    This text is striked.

Also available by highlighting the text and clicking the strike button in the toolbar.

    Preview

Click the checkbox in the toolbar to display a preview of your post. It is always a good idea to preview a post before you post it. Always be respectful of others.
