Xojo-generated app on Raspberry Pi not working

I followed Peter Lefevre’s tutorial and looked at the comments in the forum here, some very helpful, but I am not getting my Raspberry Pi desktop app to work.
What I have done:
–selected Linux as OS
–selected Arm 32-bit for architecture
–FTP’d to Documents folder on my Pi 3
–Made sure permissions were all set to Nobody
When I double click the app I get a dialog box asking me if I want to execute the executable, so I click on it and then nothing happens. Same result if I select “Execute in Terminal”.
In the Pi3 “preferences” I have all the options enabled. I am using latest version of jessie.
My Xojo app is very simple: it has one button that when clicked populates a text field with text. Another button quits the app. The background has an orange color.
What am I doing wrong?

Well…please ignore my post here. I rewrote the simple app, with nothing changed but the background color, and now it works. I must have done something to corrupt the first attempt. Sorry, folks!
