Windows question

Windows - 7,8,10:
Working with 2 screens, dragging an application main window to the secondary screen for more productivity. Annoying issue is that all dialogs and modal windows you launch from the application on the secondary screen, are still presented on the primary screen.
Never realized but as of now it annoys me.
Does anyone know if this can be changed by configuration ?

You are right in that it is a PITA, haven’t found a simple solution, but haven’t looked too hard either.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for:
Inspector for the Form:
Placement : Parent Window

Yes, Placement seems to be meant for what I was looking for, BUT IT I DON’T SEE IT WORKING THAT WAY …

Yes. I also suffer this behaviour. And I don’t know how to solve it in a general way. I must use the open event to put all new windows in the corresponding screen.
It would be great to be able to declare a “default” screen. May be a new feature request?

I wonder if this is similar to the HiDPI issue where the hidpi scale factor is from the screen the app was launched on and NOT the one the window is currently on
And possibly for the same reasons

file a bug report about this one please if there isn’t one already
