Xojo-made iOS apps in the App Store

Do you have an iOS app you made with Xojo in the App Store? Share it here for fame and glory!

I’ll start with TipVue, a beefed-up version of the Tip Calculator example project included with Xojo.

I made an app to help my kids practice their math skills. Their teachers were excited about the app, so the kids in their classes have all downloaded it.

I did have the app posted as free for the first couple of weeks and was surprised by the locations around the world that had downloaded it.

We have “Reference for FileMaker”. It’s for FileMaker Developers to quickly look up info about FileMaker and other related info.

Is the iPhone 5 issue not being able to shoot the upper right ship?

Buying now. Congrats @dave duke

My 10 year old son came up with this idea for a game, so we worked on it together and it just launched on the app store.

Cool

Purchased. Great job, Dave!

65 on second try!

@dave duke shouldn’t it be “Every ship has an internal core” instead of “Every ship as an internal core” in the app description?

I’ve downloaded it. Why have you made ‘Tap Tap Fingers’ free?

On the iPhone, I’ve gotten 69, on the iPad I got up to 82.

With my first app store app, a math flashcards type of app Math Practice with Blocks , my kids’ teachers were excited about it and getting their students using it, so I set it as free. In a week, I had 200 downloads from all over the world. I changed it to 99 cents and have sold only 3 copies since. My son, coming up with the idea and putting some work into this app, wanted to see worldwide downloads. We set it as free for now and will put it to 99 cents after a couple of weeks.

For those of you that didn’t come to XDC this year, we built an iOS app for viewing the session calendar, a map of Austin and the Xojo XDC Twitter feed. Attendees were also able to use it for marking favorites and leaving session feedback. If you’d like to see the app, it’s available in the App Store:

Given a Apple iOS store link like this one
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/startrekds/id990115241?mt=8#
//itunes.apple.com/us/app/startrekds/id990115241?mt=8#

A trick I discovered… unfortunatly this forum software doesn’t support it (but your own HTML webpage will)
but if you replace the “https:” with “itms:” it will launch the application product page directly in iTunes

@Dave S Gonna fly my geek flag and buy it after I finish browsing here. I love the old games.
@dave duke Pixel Space Wars has almost destroyed my right index finger :stuck_out_tongue:

Just so there is no confusion… the link I used in the above post, while an iOS app, was used to illustrate the “itms:” tag… full disclosure : it is not an XOJO iOS written app …

I wouldn’t buy something just because it was made with Xojo. I do love seeing what people can do with Xojo however.
