Made up bundle identifiers that are not the developer's actual reverse domain name.
These are not something you just make up on a whim, they're to identify the developer and app!

I wish code signing would validate and enforce actual bundle identifiers…

Agreed, I've always thought it strange that Apple don't insist on it.

When I first started using tech forums (or Bulletin Board Systems or whatever...) grammar mistakes really bothered me. As the years went by, I realized that very often the grammar mistakes were from people where English was not their native language. And they were getting the concept across in broken English much better than I could comprehend in some other language. So I've become much more tolerant than I was say 20 years ago.

Now I am more like this image:

This is Pet Peeves. It's literally a thread of over 4000 examples of our intolerance.

In the rest of the forum, I rarely see people being grammar Nazis and we do indeed have a lot of users who don't speak English as their first language, and do it very well.

But yeah, this is Pet Peeves :)

Pet Peeves thread used to its full extent, in a single line!

It must have been some really strong tea at that party.

This notion that posts marked as answers means anything, and whining about which post gets the flag. It's not like it's SO karma.

  20. Tolerance in a pet peeves thread.
