The fact there hasn't been a locked thread in ages.
I used to think "why don't people just get along?"
Then I thought, "I actually enjoy reading these."
Then I thought a few more things - not exactly sure what, but I'm pretty sure they were insightful (rather than inciteful).
Then I stopped thinking for a bit. Got to ration things like that.
Now I've forgotten my point (and I can't be bothered to raise my eyes to reread what I've already wroten).

    David,

I think starting from the first comment produced by our founder in PP and read to this comment should reset any lost thought you might have.

That I put my finger on a sore just to see if it still hurts.

That this thread is just like a sore and I can't keep away from it.

  6. @Norman P Or, my personal fave , the lack of creativity displayed by naming your child as "so and so II, III, IV etc"

Seriously all the names to pick from, or make one up and the MOST creative you can come up with is Oh lets add one to your name and call him 'The fourth' ... really ????????? ...

I believe this is most prevalent amongst wealthy US families to try to add a faux air of aristocracy. In the UK where there's a tradition of it being used in the royal family, it's almost unheard of amongst the hoi polloi (and would be considered really bad taste).

@Gavin S I much prefer it around here when we simply mock Richard Summers.

I like to call him Shirley. :)

  19. WTF - I just woke up and am being mocked - AGAIN!

My name's not Shirley; I don't change my Avatar too often; and yes - Irn Bru tastes fantastic!
